The evening transitions to a sapphire night,
All while the sun slips past a crimson and burning horizon.
Like the flame of a candle, stars flicker, twinkle, and ornament the sky above,
Radiating such luminosity that no feeble mind can ever discern.
Our bodies, bare and serene, are illuminated by the moonlight.
There is naught but a tranquil breeze stirring on this perfect night,
Not a cloud draped over our sky.
I utter your name while gesturing towards you with eyes met,
You respond by touching my cheek, and gently stroking my long hair.
Carefully tracing your trembling fingertips along my neck, back…
You steal a kiss from my lips,
I steal one back.
You bring me upon an embrace,
I embrace you back with my entire being put into the act.
The sound of the ocean faintly rings off in the far distance.
Waves crashing onto the porcelain shore.
The air is fresh, a mild scent of salt lingers, caressing my senses.
I can still taste a hint of salt on your skin. So bittersweet.
I pull you forward, and you grasp my hand.
We closed that smallest most space between.
Inhale. Exhale.
Your breath cools my neck, sending goose bumps down my spine,
And then a chilling sensation sparks within me.

Souls merge and legs intertwine.
Bliss turns supernova, and climactically, love erupts.
The Milky Way has collided, a stellar explosion of no end.

An electrifying notion alarms all senses.
